BOOKKEEPING IS BASIC FOR BUSINESS GROWTH!

BOOKKEEPING IS A LEGITIMATE BUSINESS AND BASIC FOR BUSINESS!

Bookkeeping is a series business and a very necessary part of running a great company!  Corporations employ bookkeepers yet however they’re described as accountants.  The CPA Board does not agree or acknowledge that bookkeepers/accountants be used interchangeably.  The concept of the work is similar, the knowledge often equal and the results equal.  Each month, a successful, growing corporation has someone to record, track the expenses of the company, record the revenues and put together monthly reports based on that information.  Does upper level or middle management have an idea of how the business is doing? ABSOLUTELY!  However, in a corporation management is smart enough to understand that having an idea in my head, or knowing what the company is doing in a round-about way isn’t sufficient to build a business, take on new acquisitions, grow a company, hire employees and prepare for the next twenty years.

Sub-contractors, Small Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, Sole Proprietors, lend your ear, listen, watch and observe!  YOU CAN’T DO IT ALL!  Bookkeeping may be simple but understand it begins as basic as entering data but that data lays a foundation for the entire company!  You cannot afford to wait until the next year, to see how well or how poorly your business performed.  Numbers paint a picture for you that cannot be denied!  Used appropriately, it provides areas for growth and change!

Right now, many of you are looking for receipts, looking for deductions, trying to prepare for tax season for last year!  You’re grabbing any and everything!  If you are one of the entrepreneurs who will base his or her business solely on your tax return, then you are in bad shape!  Not every expense is deductible and while you may receive a refund or escape paying taxes that isn’t the same thing as being profitable in business!
